A native northern Californian, Hermes Camacho currently lives in
Austin, Texas with his wife Jaclyn. He began studying the violin
at the age of 10 and wrote his first piece for a 7th grade music
project. In high school, he started conducting and playing the
viola and has been hooked ever since. When not composing,
Hermes enjoys spending time with Jaclyn, eating food, endlessly
harassing their cats Mango and Nigel, and following the ups and
downs of his northern California teams and Big 12 Conference.
